Project Brief

For this project we were each assigned a different commodity. We were then required to create and engaging, visually appropriate corporate identity solution for our commodity. Each of the commodities are linked to a specific time frame in history and that history has to be evident in the final design. The historical side of the commodity could be made contemporary or referred to in a novel way.

Design strategy

The commodity I was assigned is "Leaf tea inspired by the aztec people". Focussing specifically on the softness of the Mexican sunset, and the feminine Mother like touch of the landscape that holds holistic herbs and remedies.

I have created a brand identity for a naturopathic medicinal range. The brand identity reflects characteristics of motherly-love as Tosi - the Mother of the Aztec God's are known for refitaliazing the people's souls and renewing them from the inside out. A soft, tender colour palette has been used to emphasise these characteristics. Furthermore, organic patterns, illustrations and iconography has been developed to act as an extension of the visual language.
